Woot, well there’s a new opening! I quite like the song, reminds me of something like The Brilliant Green.
In this episode, Crona reflects upon how everyone treats her nicely and wonders why they do.
Some action with Kid, Liz and Patty!
This episode starts off with Kid in his father’s costume walking around in the desert. They are seemingly waiting for the out of control train that arrives at the station there everyday without ever being late once and is controlled by a demon tool.
At the beginning of the episode, we see a dog fighting a snake for food. The snake wins in the end and takes over the dogs body. A little girl with her mum then sees the dog and the girl is possessed by the snake. Not knowing what happened to her daughter, her mum just takes her home.
As Maka recovers from her last battle, Sid explains a plan to sneak into Arachne’s base and destroy the demon tool that has been developed by Mosquito to mess with people’s morals. Black Star overhears the conversation and decides he will get revenge for Maka.
The episode continues from the fight between Maka + Crona vs the Golem. While they are losing with Maka being paralyzed, Stein discovers that the soul hidden inside the golem is a heretic’s soul – Arachne. Stein explains to Shinigami how she’d obviously be one of the first to go insane and then he shows himself going insane too but holds his insanity back.
The episode opens with Sid trying to convince Crona to go to school, however Crona just says “I dunno how to deal with zombies” so Sid gets Maka to help him. On their way they meet Marie who seems to have been lost.
Soul Eater 25 was a more cheerful episode compared to the last few ones with battle only. Even though the battles were quite cool, I missed out on some of the comedy bits (although they’re not that funny lol). Afterall, Soul Eater is the type of anime for comedy.
